About Us
Rooted in the Rangani community of Odisha, Dhalapathara Parda is a rare handloom tradition dating back to the late 1800s. Known for its vibrant curtains and sarees, this craft uses hand-spun threads and natural dyes from fruits like mango and jamun. Passed down through generations, the weaving technique — called Rangani — brings colors to life without jacquard or dobby. Once a bridal favorite, Dhalapathara sarees are now a living legacy, honored with a GI tag in 2012.
